Billy the fish gets a quiff

Another long gap. This time a lot of health problems and a coma. During the completely off my trolley time between coma and meds I travelled around in space and time and met transhumans from another planet in the future that had settled in 21st century on a time travelling cruise ship. The cat and dog people were cute but the fish people were a bit creepy, especially with the tendency to cannibalism and I could never quite get used to the gills. The crustaceans were particularly strange with their constant clicking, and two of them nearly got me executed but thanks to the intervention of a cat person who also resembled one of the brilliant care staff at QMC Notts, I was saved. Billy, it turns out, wasn't called Billy, but he did have a quiff and was actually a really nice chap.
